Why We Exist
What would it mean to carve a path of slowness and depth that pushes against the automation of thought? Can we weave between the high-technology tools that confront human workers with abstract, loud, blinking distractions and arrive at the parts that matter? Cyborg knowledge workers are at risk of being disengaged, working from home in isolation, not fully contributing to the enterprise that they originally hoped to foster.
We need support, reminders to help us slow down and release the real insights. We need conversations that reward contrarian ideas. And we need physical workspaces that intelligent, creative people want to come to. We need a culture and an office that is not a barrier to creativity but place to help workers thrive.
